Oregon beat visiting Savannah State 128-59 in a non-conference men’s collegiate basketball game at the Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene Saturday afternoon. The Ducks take on Alabama in Eugene on Sunday, 3 p.m., in an ESPNU televised game. Oregon’s women beat visiting Vanguard 95-55 Sunday at MKA. The Ducks (7-1) host Portland on Friday in Eugene, 6 p.m.

Oregon State lost 69-66 to Charlotte in a men’s non-conference collegiate basketball game Saturday at Charlotte, NC. The Beavers (3-6) next play at home Sunday, Dec. 11, 3 p.m., to Savannah State. The women’s basketball team won the Maui Classic in Hawaii Saturday. OSU downed Idaho 60-49 on Friday, and then took the crown with a 65-56 win over BYU Saturday. Oregon State (5-1) hosts Southern Utah Saturday, 6 p.m., in Corvallis.

Oregon State’s wrestling team was 16th with 34-points at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invite over the weekend. The Beavers take on Utah Valley in Orem, Utah on Thursday, Dec. 15.
