Warrant Service
Seven Devils Rd., CCSO release – On October 4, 2019 at 12:10 am, a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy located a suspicious vehicle parked off the side of the roadway on Seven Devils Road near Mile Post 12. The deputy initially contacted a man identified as 44 year old Rowdy J. Howard of Coos Bay who stated he was having vehicle issues. After an investigation if was found Mr. Howard was assisting in concealing 26 year old Lillian M. Dodd of Coos Bay from discovery, as she had a valid outstanding felony warrant for her arrest. This warrant was confirmed and Ms. Dodd was taken into custody. Ms. Dodd was transported to the Coos County Jail where she was booked on the outstanding warrant. Mr. Howard is being referred to the Coos County D.A.’s Office on the charge of Hindering Prosecution for his role in the incident.
Burglary
So. Coos Ln., CCSO release – On October 6, 2019 at about 5:45 AM, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to S. Coos Lane in Coos Bay for a reported Burglary. During a search of the occupied residence, 39 year old Summer Arce was located hiding behind a void in the wall in the basement of the residence. In her possession were credit cards stolen from the victim’s purse, Security cameras that were removed from the residence during the night and three glass methamphetamine smoking devices. Arce was ultimately arrested for Burglary I, PCS Methamphetamine and Theft II. She was transported to Coos County Jail where she is being held.
