The Oregon women’s basketball team used a big first half run and suffocating defense to knock off Seattle U, 70-44, on Monday evening at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene. Oregon finishes its non-conference slate with a 7-4 record. The Ducks open up Pac-12 play this weekend at USC on Saturday and UCLA on Monday.

Dwayne Benjamin hit a three-pointer with 7.6 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime, and the Ducks (10-3) prevailed in the extra period 69-67 over UC Irvine Monday night at Matthew Knight Arena. Benjamin finished with a career-high 18 points, and UO earned the win in their second-straight overtime game.
