Marshfield’s girls finished second, and the Pirate boys were fifth at the annual Grants Pass Rotary Invitational Track Meet at Grants Pass Saturday.  Marshfield’s Tyler Post and Phillip Hernandez went 1-2 in the Shot Put to highlight the boys.  Post leads the 4A state list and Hernandez is third.  Post tossed the Shot 52-04.75, while Hernandez was also over 50 at 50-09.25.  Senior Zach Kellar ran a state 4A best in the 400 (50.38).  South Medford won the boys race, while Grants Pass won the girls with Marshfield second.  Jazmin Chavez (11.09.59) won the 3K, Jaycee Smith (5-0) was second in the High Jump, Khaley Aguilar (11-0) second in the Pole Vault, and Ravyn Miranda (16-08) second in the Long Jump.  Marshfield Chase Howerton (14-00) was second in the Pole Vault.  Marshfield will compete at a Far West League JV meet at North Bend Tuesday.
