News release from the Lincoln Co. Sheriff’s Office. On December 26th, 2014 at about 11:56am, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Bruce McGuire was contacted by Oregon State Police Sgt Cari Boyd, that a body had washed up on the beach near Florence, Oregon. The male body was taken to the Medical Examiners office in Eugene, where an autopsy was scheduled for Monday. On December 29th, an autopsy was performed and through dental records it was confirmed that the body was that of Bryan McKinney 27 years old out of Wenatchee ,Washington who had gone missing from Tillicum Beach RV Park on Decmeber 17th. The family has been notified and funeral arrangements are pending. The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Oregon State Police for their assistance, and the Lane County Medical Examiners Office for their help in this case.
