A stolen vehicle from Reedsport was recovered in North Bend Wednesday morning, Aug. 5, following a high-speed pursuit on North Bay Drive, and then a low-speed pursuit over the McCullough Bridge. Law enforcement officers deployed “spike strips” on North Bay Drive, and the small pickup truck’s tires deflated; however, 27-year old Steven White, Coos Bay, continued south on the flat tires and was finally pinned in by police vehicles on the southend of the bridge where he was taken into custody.
