South Oregon Coast PCPI, Jan. 17

Per Capita Personal Income (PCPI) rose in 2012 in both Coos and Curry counties. According to data from the U.S. Census Bureau and the Bureau of Economic Analysis, Coos County’s PCPI reached $34,254, up from the $32,443 in 2011. The PCPI rose by 3.4% in 2011. In Curry Co., the PCPI rose 4.8% to $34,131, up from $32,443. Both Coos and Curry’s PCPI in 2012 was 87% of the statewide average and 78% of the U.S. average.
