The City of Coos Bay contracted with Laskey-Clifton Corp to construct a new sanitary sewer force main – the alignment is shown below (Green Line). As you can see, there will be construction along portions of the walking paths associated with the Millicoma marsh trail and port loop. Construction will begin in the upcoming weeks and portions of the walking path along the dike in Eastside will be closed for safety reasons (magenta line). Signs will be clearly posted to advise pedestrians of the affected trails. Pedestrians are advised to please exercise caution within and around the construction zone.
