CCSO release – On 08/16/21 at approximately 9:57 p.m. a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle on Braley Road, just off of Grinnell Lane near Coos Bay for several traffic violations. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 30 year old Scott R. Peterson of Coos Bay. A record check revealed Mr. Peterson had an outstanding warrant for a Parole Violation. The warrant was confirmed and Mr. Peterson was taken into custody without incident. Mr. Peterson was transported to the Coos County Jail where he is being held on the warrant.
